Introduction

Wikimedia UK is seeking a contract developer to support the technical aspects of our online fundraiser from mid-September 2012 through to January 2013. We invite tenders for this work which include a cost estimate and a summary of how the work would be delivered. We expect this work will take place on a daily or hourly basis throughout this period.

Requirements

  • PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS
  • Developing web-based applications
  • On-line data capture and integration into databases

This project will include work on CiviCRM; the SmartDebit direct debit API; Paypal integration; and MediaWiki templates, as well as developing bespoke scripts and databases. An outline summary of our donation process is set out at Fundraising system spec.

How to submit tenders

Your tender should include a letter and CV detailing your experience, your list of charges and a description of your charging system, and two customer references that we can contact.

Please submit your tender to Jon Davies at jon.daviesatwikimedia.org.uk before 5pm BST on 14 September 2012. Please contact Jon on +44 (0)20 7065 0991 with any requests for additional information, or to informally discuss the role.
