Since 2011, they have hosted edit-a-thons, donated images to Wikimedia Commons, a multimedia database for the Wikimedia projects, and run the first "Wikipedia Takes..." photo scavenger hunt in the UK.

The GLAM-Wiki initiative (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums with Wikimedia) helps cultural institutions share their resources with the world through collaborative projects with experienced Wikimedia project editors. The cultural partnerships provides resources for connecting with Wikipedians and tools for beginning a project with the UK GLAM-Wiki community.
