Prizes will be given to competition winners. The prizes may be for:
* Most photographs taken within the museums involved in the competition
* Best photograph taken within the museums involved in the competition
* Best photograph of a museum (either outside, or a wide angle view of inside)
* Best Wikipedia article written in February 2010 about an item held by a museum involved in the competition

The exact categories, and prizes, will be announced at the launch event on 31 January 2010.
