Agenda for the second meeting of the Conference Committee, held by conference call, Sunday, 17 June 2012.
Agenda
- Update on anything to report on 2014 Wikimania bid since last meeting
- Date and location of next committee meeting
- How often does the committee need to meet at this point?
- Community consultation
- Invite members of the community to comment on he Wikimania bid and become involved in the organising
- Wikimania 2012
- This will likely be the last meeting before Wikimania 2012, and DC is the only Wikimania between now and the announcement of the winner for 2014
- Who from the Conference Committee is going?
- What can we have in place for the 2014 bid by Wikimania 2012? Would be good to get ahead of any potential competition early
- What is the message we want our representatives to be delivering in DC?
- This will likely be the last meeting before Wikimania 2012, and DC is the only Wikimania between now and the announcement of the winner for 2014
- WikiConference UK 2013
- If the Conference Committee is to take responsibility for this, we need to begin the process of finding a location
