Below is the Wikimedia UK monthly report for the period 1 to 31 April 2012. If you want to keep up with the chapter's activities as they happen, please subscribe to our blog, join our mailing list, and/or follow us on Twitter. If you have any questions or comments, please drop us a line on this report's talk page.

Program activities

Community

London meetup (56)
Monmouth meetup (1)

The Monmouth meet up had been organised because of the MonmouthpediA project which had brought the WMUK to its first board meeting outside the English borders. Actually this was the first Wikimeet in Wales. Since December of 2010 the project had written over 100 articles in English and a similar number in other languages. This meant that over 50 notable buildings (including most of the pubs) had articles and QRpedia codes had been placed on the notable objects inside several of the buildings.
