GLAM activities
- On September 8th, the first Wikipedia editing training session at the British Museum, with 9 BM people (after 3 late drop-outs; a mix of curators, curatorial interns and volunteers) and three Wikimedians. See here
- Two ARKive project events, one in the afternoon, the other in the evening, were held in Bristol on 15 September, led by Andy Mabbett (User:Pigsonthewing). - see Wiki Wildlife Bristol. - The 49th London Meetup was held at Penderel's Oak Pub, Holborn, London. The final candidates for the Wikimedia UK Chief Executive position were in attendance.
- Richard Symonds, known as Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry on Wikipedia, joined Wikimedia UK as an Office Administrator, until mid-January.
