The Medical Research Council has requested a Workshop, based on the Cancer Research UK Workshop run earlier in the year. This will have ten attendees and four Wikimedia volunteers. The workshop will take place in the MRC Head Office in London (follow the link for directions; the room is on the 13th floor of the headquarters building) on Friday 1 July 2011.

Programme

Volunteers should aim to be at the venue at 9.30. The official start is 10am.

  • Introductions
  • Overview presentation (Martin Poulter)
  • Work through training pages (Darren Logan)
  • Break for lunch (provided by MRC)
  • Attendees work on articles of interest, with in-person help from Wikimedians
  • Afternoon coffee break + informal presentation of some other things that are useful to know (Martin + Charles)
  • Close at 4pm
