A draft release on Commons is at commons:Commons:Press releases/10M - will probably copy/past a lot of the blurb from here to save effort. As a comment on the rate of growth, Commons has doubled in size in the past 17 months: It passed 5M in late 2009 and 8M in January 2011. So its growth rate is still increasing - see http://toolserver.org/~bryan/stats/commons-growth-cummulative.png
