* There is already the [http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page Simple English] Wikipedia, though it is not specifically aimed at children. Such a project may not just be applicable to the UK, unless you focused on UK topics. Produce a children's version of Wikipedia.

Outline

Most of the Wikipedia material, although complete and rigorous, is too complex for children (and many adults). Produce a simplified and more colourful version aimed at children aged about 14.

Benefits

Make the knowledgebase useful to children studying for exams (and many adults too). Can also, help children find out information.

Requirements
