Information about microgrants that are currently running, and how to submit a microgrant application of your own, are at [[Microgrants/Applications]].

*[[Microgrants/Photographing of London]] approved. The microgrant enables [[User:Chmee2]] to travel round London taking high-resolution photographs of the city. Over 500 photographs have [[Microgrants/Photographing of London/Results|been taken so far]], and already two are Featured Pictures on Commons: a [[:Commons:Commons:Featured picture candidates/File:Genghis Khan sculpture at Marble Arch in London, spring 2013 (1).jpg|statue of Genghis Khan at Marble Arch]], and [[:Commons:Commons:Featured picture candidates/File:Detail of railings at the Albert Memorial in London, spring 2013.JPG|a close-up of railings at the Albert Memorial]].
*[[Microgrants/Wrecks on Doom Bar]] update. On 15 April the article on Doom Bar was promoted to Featured Article status. WormThatTurned's next target is creating a list of wrecks at Doom Bar.
*[[Microgrants/Core Contest (prizes)]] update. The article improvement competition with prizes from WMUK began on 15 April and will conclude on 12 May. So far nine articles have been submitted, ranging from the crusades to Charles Babbage.
*[[Microgrants/KFC]] update. This microgrant covers the purchase of books to enable [[User:Farrtj]], an independent editor who has no affiliations with KFC, to improve the KFC article on the English-language Wikipedia. The books were purchased and sent to Farrtj who has improved the article and is ready to nominate it at Featured Article Candidates.

This month, we received £220 in one-off donations, with 4 individual donations. The average donation amount was £55  - 75% of these donors have had Gift Aid Declarations made and matched with their records. If anyone would like a full (but anonymised) csv file with more information, please get in touch with katherine.bavage{{@}}wikimedia.org.uk and let her know your requirements. 

There were 4963 successful direct debits this month, bringing in a total of £19474.77
